There are currently no fully plastic free Vegan Bamboo Toothbrushes available (you can buy Pigs hair bristle ones ) but this toothbrush uses bristles made from nylon 4. This material naturally breaks down in months as opposed to years.
In addition, the grip is sustainable bamboo. These materials help lessen overall plastic usage.
The bristles are fine and medium/firm. They will not irritate sensitive gums but clean teeth effectively.
Look after your toothbrush and avoid leaving it soaked in water and most importantly, let it dry.

This is a very reasonably priced toothbrush that comes in cardboard package rather than the usual horrible plastic packaging. For this reason alone I have given it five stars but haven’t used it yet.

I bought this to replace my standard toothbrush I use for travel and when I’m too lazy to use the electric. The head is smaller and the bristles are a little softer than I expected, but it’s not an issue for the price.
